A few years ago, I got sick and couldn't work with people for a few months. I am primarily a portrait photographer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, you see. Because of my need for creative release, I decided to start shooting the flowers in my back yard. Soon thereafter, friends started expressing interest in purchasing my still life work, so I got the idea to open an Etsy shop and try my hand at joining our city team, Etsy Dallas. I have since participated in several Etsy Dallas shows and now share a booth space with a friend at the Frisco Mercantile in Frisco, TX. When asked what type of photography I enjoy best, it is difficult for me to answer. I love it all and I love a challenge.
